Humanity

It's my opinion that Sharon feels more human than Cylon, even though she knew what she was from the beginning. I think it's safe to say that Sharon wants to be human, anyway. It's also important to her for others to see her human too.

Helo has a big part of that. She fell in love with him, and she wanted to be with him, something she didn't feel like she was allowed to do after he found out she is a Cylon. Sadness and jealousy was in her eyes when she saw Starbuck and Helo reuniting on Caprica. She wanted that affection from Helo.

Along with love, Sharon has other very human ideals. Faith is a huge one.

What we had between us was important. It was very important. Because it was the next step. Because it brings us closer to God.

I'm not really sure what Sharon meant by that, but I do think Helo and Sharon's relationship and her pregnancy did a lot in uniting Cylons with humans. Sharon proved that not all Cylons are bad and out to hurt humans, and I think she is one who is for humanity. Heck, she already betrayed the Cylons.
