Boomer is the call sign of Sharon Valerii, a Lieutenant on Battlestar Galactica. She is very dedicated to her work and is trusted with the most important and dangerous of missions.
Although she keeps a hard face on for everyone to see, inside, Boomer is very emotional.
Boomer is also a Cylon. As a sleeper agent programmed to respond when she was needed, Boomer started unknowingly committing acts of sabotage. Learning the hard truth of what she is, Boomer fell into depression.
I really like Boomer. She has flaws that make her interesting, she holds love in high regard, and her story is not only a story of self-discovery, but also one of learning to live with who and what she is, and finding a balance between human and Cylon.
