Layout

I wanted this layout to be more than pretty. I wanted it to mean something. I chose an image of Sabin from the Playstation FMVs because I haven't really used those much on this site in the past, but that's not really the important part of the layout. I mean, Sabin had to be in the layout because this is a Sabin shrine, but the important parts are the pictures of the coin with Edgar's face and Figaro Castle I blended into the background. Edgar and Figaro are Sabin's motivation for pretty much everything in his life, and I wanted to really reflect that in the site's design. The coin toss is a pivotal scene in Sabin's story, so I'm really glad I was able to include it, too.

I quite like that this layout is dark. I've made nothing but light layouts for this site in the past, and I think I forgot how dark Final Fantasy VI is before. There's no real rhyme or reason for the yellow. I have just always associated Sabin with the color yellow.

I used Adobe Photoshop to create the main image. Textures in it are from Hybrid Genesis and Rhythmique.
